Deep Fried Ham Sandwich with Oats
8 pc toast bread
4 tbls mustard
16 slc cooked ham or cured ham
8 slc cheddar or Jarlsberg
8 pc cocktail sticks
3 pc egg, whipped
2 dl flour with salt and pepper
5 dl oatmeal, not whole type
1 l rapeseed oil
Preheat a casserole with rapeseed oil.
Spread mustard onto the bread, ham, cheese and a new toast bread on the top.Place 4 cocktail sticks into the bread. Turn these first in flour, then in eggs and finally in oat meal. Add to the oil and fry until they turn golden brown. Serve with French fries, salad or prickled vegetables.
